Stop by your local SLCL branch from December 11, 2023-February 2, 2024 and donate to our holiday food drive benefitting Operation Food Search. The most needed items are canned meats, fish, fruit, beans, soup, diced tomatoes, tomato paste and spaghetti sauce.

Starting January 2, 2024 all SLCL branches will close at 8:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Previously, all branches were open until 9:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday. All other Library hours remain the same.

The St. Louis County Library Foundation received a $450,000 donation from the James S. McDonnell Family Foundation to sponsor a new St. Louis County Library bookmobile. This generous donation marks the fourth gift this year from local organizations and businesses to upgrade SLCL’s aging bookmobile fleet. The new units will hit the road in the second half of 2024.

The St. Louis County Library Foundation will host an online Holiday Auction from December 4–10. Featured items include fine dining experiences, island getaways, autographed books and so much more.

St. Louis County Library’s Winter Reading Challenge kicks off December 1 and runs through January 31, 2024. All ages can participate and win prizes. Print a reading log at home or sign up online.
