St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Westfall Politics and History Series is pleased to host a special event with New York Times columnist and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nicholas Kristof. The event will take place on Thursday, June 13, 7:00 p.m. at the Clark Family Branch, 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd, St. Louis MO 63131. Kristof will discuss his memoir, “Chasing Hope: A Reporter’s Life,” in conversation with St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist Tony Messenger. 

St. Louis County Library Foundation and The Novel Neighbor present Academy Award-winning screenwriter for “The Imitation Game,” Graham Moore  for a discussion and signing of his third suspense novel,“The Wealth of Shadows.” The event will take place on Wednesday, May 29, at 7:00 p.m. at the Daniel Boone Branch, 300 Clarkson Road, Ellisville, MO 63011. The program is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event from The Novel Neighbor.

St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Favorite Author Series and The Novel Neighbor present bestselling author and host of the popular YouTube book review channel PolandbananasBOOKS Christine Riccio for a discussion and signing of her new rom-com novel, “Attached at the Hip.” The event will take place on Tuesday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Grant’s View Branch, 9700 Musick Rd., St. Louis MO, 63123. The program is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event from The Novel Neighbor.

St. Louis County Library (SLCL) and St. Louis Public Library (SLPL) are teaming up to offer a joint summer reading and exploration program called STL Summer Adventure. This brand new program invites youth ages 0-17 to go on an adventure with a variety of activities in STEM, Art, Outdoors, St. Louis and Reading. The program will run from June 1-August 10, 2024.
